Indications

Endosolv E – Directions

Gain access to root canal by opening via occlusal area.

Place a drop of Endosolv E in the opened canal, in contact with old filling material to be removed. Using a reamer or other appropriate endodontic instrument, remove the soften filling material. Add more repeatedly as the removal process continues, as necessary to soften old restorative material.

It is frequently desirable to open the root in question, place in the pulp chamber via a cotton pledget, reclose the tooth, and allow the Endosolv E to remain in the canal for one or more days. This procedure is recommended if conditiond permit.

Caution

When material has been used, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and dry the canal before placement of an endodontic filling.
